carpet kit

Hi where's the best place to get a carpet kit for my 54 f100?? I'd like one that's pre cut so it fits around the steering collum, cheers

Don't buy one from LMC. I got one for my 49, it did not fit well at all. Sent them dimensions and they insisted it was correct. It was also stiff as a board, could not do much with it. Ended up sending it back. My upolstery guy ended up supplying the material and installing it for about what LMC wanted for the kit.

Yep, just got mine from Mid-Fifty. No cut-outs for steering column or pedals.

I don't think you will find one pre-cut. They would have to inventory for floor shift, column shift, gas tank in the cab or not, seats etc. Afraid you are going to punch your own holes. ACC sells good carpets as well. I strongly suspect they make them for most of the Effie parts vendors. Been a long time since I purchased and prices are sure up.

okay so if i have to cut my carpet to fit round my collum and pedals
does anyone have any tips or pictures of how to do it?? don't really want to take the steering collum off and then fit the carpet, i would sooner cut around everything to make it fit if it's possable. Thanks

I'm just guessing here, but one idea would be to take off the pedal pads so you only have to cut a small round hole. Another tip would be to make a paper template then transfer it to the carpet.

like rat53 said take off the pedal pads and cut the holes then slit the carpet from the top to the column, cut your hole and use carpet tape, the kind they use for house carpets, and seal the seam.

Here you go. I don't know about their F100 stuff, but I'm, quite happy with their Fiero Carpet.
