Looking for a 73-79 Ford for a project. 4x4 strongly preferred, 460/429 is perfect, 351/400 is second choice.
Interested in trucks that are in running condition but need some love. No basket cases or rustbuckets please.
Price needs to be around $2,000 or less and should be reasonably close to Baton Rouge.
Thanks

Does it need to be 4x4? I have a 1978 2wd XLT Lariat with a 460, auto tranny that is in great shape only needing little TLC. Solid body with only 76k miles on it. email trapperlonnie@yahoo.com for pics and info it is in Indiana
Not sure if you found anything yet but I have a truck here in Houston that may fit the bill. email me at worksforbeer@gmail.com if you still are looking. Thanks!
I have a nice original '78 F-150 reg. cab, long bed w/ factory side cargo box w/ 351M, 3-speed on column. 134000+ miles. I have it listed on Graigs List. I really need to sell it!

I've got a '79 F-250 Supercab if you're still looking... It's 460/C6 4x4, red and silver. It needs some work, but it runs and drives and it's a good start. My apologies if you've already found something, I'm trying to get up enough posts to list it.
Since I posted that I have a new job that requires me to travel extensively. I'm going to hold off on the project for a while but I appreciate the response.
