So last night I called AAA to have it towed to a shop, I decided to gave it one last ditch effort by doubling checking all the leads and grounds. Still nothing. I popped the cap, lifted the rotor, and re-adjusting the points. When doing so I notice when I tightened down one of the screws that hold down the point that there was a bare wire grounded at the same location. When I tighten that screw it turned the wire bending it just enough to hit the side of the distributor. I threw the rotor and cap back on and went to start her up. Keeping my fingers crossed I turned the key. And what do you know it started up, ran like crap, but it started!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. Man I was so excited to finally hear it start up again. I didn't want to turn it off but knowing something was still wrong, I did. Checked all spark plug and coil wires, popped the cap and re-adjusted the points again making sure there was little to no resistance at .025and that bare wire was not making any unwanted contact. Started her up again and she was purred like a kitten. As I was driving it around the block I remembered about AAA, gave them a call and cancelled the tow. It felt so good telling the lady "yea, I fixed it". But really I owe it all to guys and gal for all the advice. I thank you and my wallet thanks you.

Got mine started too. Julie was right, I had to go thru 3 coils before I got one that worked. In my case, that makes it 66% that are bad. Now if I could only get my radiator back from the radiator shop, I could actually run it long enough to tune it.
Thanks to everyone....I love this forum!!
