2007 Rear Wiper Arm Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the rear wiper arm on a 2007 Expy? I found the retainer nut and removed it but still can't get the whole wiper arm to come off. I'm trying to replace the strike plate that's on the inside of the glass and can't completely remove it without taking off the whole rear wiper arm. Thanks so much! Bob

Removal and Installation

1. CAUTION: Use a shop towel or similar device to protect the vehicle finish when carrying out the procedure. Remove the rear window wiper pivot arm.

o Lift the pivot arm nut cover.
o Remove the nut.
o Using a suitable 2-leg gear puller, remove the rear window wiper pivot arm.
o To install, tighten the nut to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) .

2. NOTE: This step makes sure that the wiper motor is in the PARK position. Turn the rear window wiper switch ON and allow the motor to operate for at least one cycle. Turn the rear window wiper switch to OFF.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

o Adjust the rear wiper pivot arm.
