Jim you remember when we were tapping the threads for my pyrometer? That was Fluid Film I gave you to use.

It really is great stuff. I coat all my new snow shovels in it and then clean and spray them at the start of every winter. Keeps snow from sticking and making the shovel any heavier than it needs to be!

I decided to try my sample bottle out today (thanks again for the sample) on my tailgate latch. Why does it bubble when you spray it on something? It bubbled for about 20 seconds after I sprayed it.

My sample can seems to be under extremely high pressure. Are the larger cans pressurized the same way? What kind of anti-sling properties does it have? Could I use it on chains for a hay baler, or would it all sling off?

Kind of reminds me of a sweet smelling Break Free CLP. I need to find some rusty bolts to try it out on. So far I like it.

LOL (Here comes the disclaimer!!)
DISCLAIMER: Bathing in Fluid Film could lead to exclusion at parties (you'll smell like a sheep's arm pit), possible serious injury or death (you'll be slick as snot trying to exit the tub), God knows what type of reaction to private areas (Never tried it, never will), and serious difficulty trying to wash off the product (It doesn't wash off easily).

It does blow away the competition when used when used as advised, though! Read all warnings carefully before using, especially if you have any inclination to bathe in the stuff.

I remember it working very well as a tapping oil.

I did the same thing on a friends tailgate, he had been using WD40 every Saturday on it and quite a bit of it. I gave the parts a few small shots and what a difference. I am going to use it on my bumper bolts they are pretty rusty and it has to come off in a week or two.

The propellant is the same in all the cans. It does not sling off after application, which makes it an excellent chain lube. It will also not create a dirt build-up on the chain since it stays so slick, so the dirtier the application the better it will perform.

I used my sample a second time on my John Deere battery terminals, all I can say is WOW what a great product.

Then, I used it on my lawn vac to clean up the rusty bolts. I saved just enough to spray the snow blade on my 4 wheeler, for sure it won't snow now. lol

I see from your website that several John Deere dealers carry the Fluid Film. I need to get a couple of cans to have on hand.

It also cures calves of worms! We had one calf get ringworms and we just sprayed a bit on the sides of her neck where it was messed up and she got better. True story.

And Chris I believe it bubbles because FF is very anti-corrosion so it is bubbling when it contacts rust.

FF works very well as a chain lube. It keeps our Vbed salter chains rust free over the summer and they arent all locked up when its time to use them again each winter.

It works great on latches and hedge trimmer blades and hinges and........... Basically anything that is prone to corrosion or pivot/friction points.
