E4od stuck in drive......solenoid pack?

92 F350 ,this has me wondering,so I thought to ask the experts here. This is a E4od and it is in Drive in every gear I select other than park,in Reverse it appears as if the engine loads down as if both reverse and drive are engaged,in neutral it is actually in Drive,as well as the 3 positions od Drive. So could it be that the solenoid shift pack is stuck as if it is bad?I drove it and it went throught the gears in 1,2,3 and shifts okay.Linkage is good and functions good.Any thoughts or suggestions.unable to pull codes.
