2011 Ford Super Duty Live Drive PTO

Hey guys,

Continuing with the 2011 Super Duty coverage: anyone utilize a PTO before on another vehicle? What for? Excited about its inclusion on the 2011 Super Duty? What do you think of its "live drive" capability to remain on even while idle? Does it matter to you that it won't be on the gas engine Super Duty?

How long will it take somebody to build an on board air compressor to hook up to the new PTO?

Not long. I wish I had the $$$ to go with this system for AC power.

used to use one on my Dad's 64 Ford for a winch. Live PTO works great.

Couldn't you just use one of the air compressors for the old PTO? The mounting is standard.
