first, my horse trailer is starting to rust in several spots...short of shelling out $1500 to have it completely redone (which i can't), what's the best approach to sanding/priming etc to keep it in check?
then- how difficult is it to replace ac clutch/compressor and flush brakes?

I've been very impressed with using POR-15 on my axle and parts. . .
a $25 "sample pack" is really a kit that does 12 square feet. it includes everything you need. . .cleaner, brushes, gloves, instructions, and paint. Really depends on where it is rusted though. . .if its rusting at seems or joints you really need to get it apart to wire brush and at least hit it with an Ospho like rust converter and quality zinc rich primer. . .
flushing brakes is time consuming. . .not really hard unless your bleeder screws are rusted in tight
not sure about the AC clutch. . .I took it out of my red truck and it wasn't too bad. . .and I take for granted my 2004 AC just works :P
