You're right about that - was a time-honored tradition when I was a kid...lol. The stories I could tell....but won't...
This the place for the stories give us a laugh. I was pretty good about halloween after I was to old to treat n trick I joined the local volunteer fire dept junior program and we always did open house at the station so that kept me busy.
Morning folks. Nice high 30s here this morning. I think I might be taking the fan off my truck this winter since it doesn't want to ever warm up anyways.

I didn't pay attention to how cold it got this morning - but it was definately chilly here in the mountains. Good thing I got heating fuel delivered recently...lol.

I think I might need to go ahead and look into those zerostart tank heaters before it starts dropping into the 20s at night. I haven't the need to plug the truck in at night yet, but when I needed to last year, the stock (or stock type) block heater did nothing, and looks to be a bear to get to. I think we're only going into the mid 40s tonight around here, so that's not too bad.

I think we're going to get a decent week here. Hopefully more than a week, as it certainly seems like the summer went by awfully fast. I don't much care for the cold weather anymore, but for some strange reason, I love snow. I best get working on finding a winch for my truck though LOL.

Morning. Well, as far as shaking, that old International certainly did it's fair share this morning before taking the little one to the bus stop! The early morning trend of temps in the 30s is getting on my nerves LOL.

Yeah, the dark skies have already moved in here - no rain yet but it's on the way. At least the rest of the week is to be decent and what some might call "seasonal" with regard to temps and such.
