I wouldn't watch nascar, even if they paid me to. Next to the stupid ass wrestling, and professional poker, it's the most stupidest thng they call a sport. If I want to watch something going in circles, I'd tie something to a cats tale. At least that would be entertaining.

Before I get yelled at, is it okay for a newbie to talk to you guys here or did I do something wrong? Just wanted to say I too used to have a 72 Grumblin'. Mine was an " X " 304, 3 spd. on the floor. That little thing would scoot. Took it down to where everybody from school used to race one night. Score: Rambler 3. Competition 0. Left just in time I think, place was well known. Saw a big old 4 door plain Jane Dodge / Plymouth on its way in when I left. Guess what the State Police drove then?

Thanks, didn't know. Just everybody I saw here had stuff like " senior user " or the chapter leader. Thought maybe this was for the old timers & newbies weren't supposed to be on here.

Lightbulb Re.: 351 C vs M

Don't remember for sure, has been years but a quick check was which way do the fuel pump bolts line up? Top & bottom or sides. Think it was the Cleveland that had them top & bottom. The Windsor had them on the sides ( I think ). Was reading some of the stuff from last month & someone wasn't sure which 351 he had. Hope this helps.

Didn't notice that. Last time I looked it still said " junior ". Congrats. to me I guess. Remember seeing the thing about Lake of the Ozarks. If I get Old Rusty back & have the funds, I'll try to make it. Any particular preferences on chips? Plain potato, Doritos®, etc., etc.? About how many bags ( Costco size ) should I bring?

Little cool right now, At least the rain has stopped ( for now ). Need to have a nice polite chat with the phone co. Every time it rains my phone goes kaput.
When the phone goes, there goes the computer too. Major pain in the *&^. Read most of the stuff here & under the trucks ( forget what years ) section for info. on Old Rusty.

Okay, just went back to see if there was anything new & interesting. It's 87 - 96 trucks. ( Old Rusty's a '91 )

Haven't had it long enough yet. Just got it end of July. Got it inspected, was told the lower rad. hose is rubbing tranny cooler line. Not leaking yet, but close. Decided might as well do all the hoses, flush & fill, & new thermostat. Then decided to have it tuned up. Took it to the tech. school & was talking to the instructor. He said they have the machine to do the tranny flush & fill. decided to do that & a new filter while they had it. After reading here, decided to have him do the rear end too. So when they get done with it, I'll be starting off with fresh fluids all around. Found a slightly better seat & had them change it. Like this tech. school. You buy the parts, they do the work. NO labor charge ( FREE - one of my favorite words ). Didn't want to drive it with the hose ready to blow. Probably put less than 100 miles on it after getting it home. Has a 302, supposed to be a Jasper long block with about 40,xxx since install. Guy " lost all the paperwork in a divorce ". Not exactly that I don't trust the guy, just a little nervous with no paperwork to back it up. Haven't looked under it to see. Jasper tells me there should be a sticker on the engine by the oil pan if it's theirs. Hope to get it back in another week or two. Instructor said probably around the middle of the month. Kids only get a couple hours a day & a couple days a week. Rest of it is classroom instruction.

Teacher told me they don't do rebuilds here. Don't know if where you're at they might. Can't hurt to ask.
