I sold my 1999 F-150 v8 Lariat 4x4 (285k miles) for $6,500 and bought a 2003 F-250 v10 XLT 4x4 (160k miles) for $7,500 with a 12" Skyjacker Lift Kit and 44" wheels/tires... just waiting to get it transported from Tifton GA to Hickory Flat MS via uShip.com just wondering if yall thought that was a good upgrade for the price and all.

Very nice truck. Great body. Skyjacker lift, pro comp blue diamond shocks, 44 inch tires (needs new tires), grill guard, strong V10 with very nice exhaust system. CD, Keyless, 160,000 miles. Winshield has slight crack. Must sell. Has well over $6,000 in extras. I was asking 10,500 but I must let it go ASAP.

I found a guy at a tire company that will order a set of 42x15 TSL Bias tires and mount them on the 12x16.5 rims as an even trade for one of our E-Z-Go gas utility golf carts. Loaded them up and dropped them off at his store, should be ready to pickup by Monday... woohoo!
The Bearcat 350A Scanner and Cobra 29LTD Classic CB arrived today... mounted them:
It turned out better than I thought - full turn both sides no rubbing, 96 miles by 12 gallons (25 gal tank), barely hear the tires sing, right-rear has a bad lump or needs a tire shaving or something and will be replaced tomorrow (looks & feels like this at 40 mph).
Great looking truck mate, love the tires, although I would prefer a different engine like maybe a powerstroke cause I don't care much for the v10 but other than that I would have definately bought that beast for $8,000 without even having drove it! How come I can't find deals like that? :P

Nice! Don't build the v10 up and it should last, I have an 03, pretty much the same truck. I actually rolled mine off a mountain in the snow and it destroyed the body but everything else is straight as can be! Tough trucks
New paint and body and she is back on the road better than ever!
that came from myneck of the woods! i actually think i've seen it when i went up torwards tifton a few times... looks great, if i remember right that thing is huge too
