Broken Hinges

Broken Hinges
Anyone else had this happen ? I was at the back of my expy when I noticed the hinges for the rear hatch window where broken. I went to the stealership and asked the price of new ones, he told me they're special order at $110 each. After I told him he was f_cking nuts, I went to one of the junk yards in town and got a pair for $10. I'll admit I've driven some rough roads here in the Montana back country which I figure must have contributed to the failure of these hinges, but these being something of an off road vehicle, one would think the hinges would hold up better then that. My hinges where about half there, so I'm just thankful I caught it before my window fell off. Then there's the outrageously inflated price of the new ones, I'd make my own before paying $220 for a pair. For those of you that drive off road, I highly recommend you check your hinges. I took this photo of the broken ones so you'll know what to look for.
