Extended Cab Door Ajar Light

I get into my truck 2004 F350 with a V10 and extended cab. I shut the door and the door ajar light stays on. I try and shut mine and the indicator is still on. I go through all the doors and same thing.

Someone told me try spraying the inside of the door latch and open and shut the doors. To no luck the door ajar light is still on.

Would anyone else have a suggestion or how to trouble shoot which door it would be causing the problem and how to replace that particular switch.

Thanks
Aaron

With the key in the ignition and engine off, does the dinger go off?

If so, it's the driver's door

I read a couple of posts. Can someone tell me if there is a switch in the top of the small door?

Thanks

I won't swear by it, but I doubt there would be a switch in the small doors. Since you can't close the front door until the small door is closed, there wouldn't be any point in having one there.

I'd be drowning the door latches in BOTH front doors with WD40. It make take overnight for it to loosen the gunked up switches, but I'll bet it does.
