I am looking for an aluminum topper for my dad's 09 F150. Who makes a good quality aluminum topper/cap? I have always had fiberglass ones so I don't know who makes the best aluminum one.

 

do you mean a cap like a camper shell that is as tall as the truck cab, or a flat one like a tonneau cover? (seems some people have different meanings for a "cap")

The cap/shells aren't too popular on here and I think the only ones posted so far have been fiberglass ones.

I have an ARE DCU "Deluxe Commercial Unit" on my '09 F150 screw 6.5' bed. We have owned several (01, 03, 07, 09 F150 Screws) and have been quite pleased with them.

I can get some pix in the next few days if you'd like... need to wash the nasty beast first!
