hello all. I will be visiting your great state this weekend to look at some property to purchase in lumberton. is there anyone in the chapter near there? could be that ya'll are going to get a member of Md chapter to transfer to Nc chapter soon.
same thing happens in md david, it's usually only 4-5 of us that show up, but we always have a good time. I'm really looking forward to this move, and will certainly join in in any gtg, or event that I can.
wife used to live in newbern, we kept looking there for years, never found the property, nor people that just grabs ya. widened the seaech a bit, and found this piece of land. the people are wonderful, every store, and shopping thing we need is within 45 mins, and when we walked onto the land it was love at first sight. I had been speaking to tin man about his neck of the woods, but wanted to be closer to the ocean. wife loves to fish, and I love to cook them for her.
ok then, your probably the guy she used to fish with, and stole her heart!!! newbern is nice, plenty to do, plenty to see, but is growing really fast, I am going to an area, where you can relax.
That's the way it is here where I'm at, no one and I mean no one come's throught here!!
I live just outside the city, but I'm near what I need. I am in the old country with new houses being built!!
the property we bought is in the old country too, but past where the new houses are being built by about 20 mins. while haveing the meeting at the property we stood on the yellow line in the middle of the road for about 1/2 hr. try that up here where I live now, and you'd become a speed bump.
Now I have a road down the way that car's go down, but they don't come here. I have been where you are talking about where NO one come's by, but my wife don't like that!! Been there and done that and I loved it, but not her!!
mines good for it. church is 10 mins, and town is 20 mins, quiet. that's what I'm up for. as soon as I put up a building, will probably work on some kind of pavillion that I can store some of my cars under, and use for picnics, and gtg's. I'm sure we can find a good use for this
