Let's see your 35s without a lift!

I'm interested in going with either 35/12.50/20 or 285/65/20 without a lift. I hear you can do it without rubbing. I'd like to see some examples if you fellows would be so kind.

Well, first - a 35" is a 35" is a 35" so my 17" wheels should still show you clearance. No RUBBING!

My Truck - Look at the pictures and read the text description - there's plenty of info there.

Hope this helps...

No lift

I put 35 " Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2008 F350 4X4 SD. The stock lift was sufficient, and all I did was zip tie the fenderwell liner back because for some reason, the tires rubbed in a tight turn in reverse. The wheels are 18X10 wide. It looks like a wide stance tractor puller. I will get a picture up as soon as possible.

Just had a set of Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's mounted. 35" tall with no rubbing. The truck is completely stock.

Ah geez, I didn't even realize it was seminaryranger!!! You're still goin to drive into those mud holes up to the bumper, right!!! You'll probably spend a lot more time pulling Chevys out.

ahhhh...this is awsome! All my questions are answered with in days of getting on this post. Several ignorant people at 4x4 shops have denied my interest in 35's on my stock suspension. Thanks for the proof and putting me out $1500...now i have to do it!

seminaryranger: your truck looks good now, let me know how you like the new MT/R's

other than the 1" leveling spacer up front the suspension is stock (factory plow prep) and clears 35" Cooper Disc. STT's with plenty of room to spare...and they work awesome....

Those are 35 by what? 12.50? On the stock wheel? How well does that work out for you? Any changes in handling or load bearing ability?

I'm thinking about doing the same thing!

I just had the 35x12.5x18 put on my 06. Completely stock and clear fine. I will have pictures up soon. Handles well. Had the same problems with the truck store guys. ONE CAVEAT. If you have aftermarket wheels witha different offset, then you will have to have a leveling kit to get 35s on.

You have a great reputation! You're one of the few guys that actually takes your 4x4 off-roading on a regular basis and posts pics & videos to prove it. I've had my F350 4x4 for more than a year and have yet to put the truck in 4x4 or go off-roading. Your off-roading events are motivating and fun to watch. Let us know how the new tires handle that infamous mud pit!
