Rebuilding my 06 4.2 L

I have a 2006 F-150 with 292,000 miles which I tow boats across the lower 48 statesfor the last 2.5 years and have 2 more years to pay on it. I would like to rebuild it and maybe increase the torque if possible, any help would be very helpful... Thasnk you
