Good info for rebuilding 272

I have a running 272 that will go in my 56... I'm looking for a good book or internet source so I can do the rebuild myself... Just looking to freshen the rings and bearings...

Thanks
JB

Just be aware of some "mistakes" in that book... for instance one being the timing chain. It show aligning the pins on the wrong side of the block (page 72)...

Good luck with your rebuild??

I did read about the mistakes in the reviews... I've got a 56 shop manual as well so I'm sure there is engine info there to cross reference...

I've found the '56 Ford Truck shop manual to be very good. There is some great info there. Mine is in loose leaf form from being used so much.
