Hello,
I have a 2005 ford f-150. Two weeks ago I was driving down a side street, and braked and slowed when another truck was coming from the other direction. When I gave it gas, there was nothing, like it stalled, but the engine was still on. I shut it off, and started it again, and it was fine. Same thing happened today. The manual says it's a electronic trottle control, bring it to your dealer. Does anyone know what this is? Is this something I can fix? thanks

 

electronice throttle controle I belive it the thing that opens and closes your throttle... they dont run cables any more to the throttle body any more I dont think jut all electrice. as for doing it your self I dont think it would be overly hard.

 

Any codes??? from the computer and do you have an after market intake???
