Can I add power windows/locks to an XL

I have found several trucks in my quest for a F250ld/F150 7700 that are XL fleet trucks. They are pretty clean with decent miles. They have air, cruise but no power windows/locks. Is the wiring there in the harness to just plug into. My thought was to find a pair of nice door panels and switch the interior when I find some nice seats. Any thoughts. Thanks.

I've done the conversion on my own truck - if you have enough donor parts its doable - may get costly depending on where you get the stuff, or you may do it fairly cheap depending. You will have to take out the entire dash and replace the whole dash wiring harness as well or splice in the factory connections like I did (very technical / time consuming) but it was a fun project and I learned a lot. Check out my gallery and see some tech pics that I took. Here is a write up of what I did....

I feel it was deffinitly worth it, had fun, learned a lot, and love my truck even more! But its not for the faint of heart. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply and information. I didn't know it was that involved. It looks like you did you homework and got what you wanted and learned along the way. At this point in my situation, my summer project list isn't done and being without a truck isn't helping. I guess I will keep looking for a truck with the options installed.
