Now that I have the writeup in my hand I noticed the torque converter. Oops. What were the specs for that? The part number seems to not exist and the Midwest people seem to not be much help. I have called them multiple times and they will not return my call.

Pics of your headers?

lesoster, you are the only person I've been able to find on google who has used those headers and I'm planning a similar build. Can I please get some pictures?

I think they will work on my 90 manual off-road rig but want to make sure before dropping the coin. Is the outlet 3"? Does it go over the transmission cross-member next to the frame (has to for my application)? If they fit like I think they will I won't even need an exhaust shop, just a piece of 3" pipe and a muffler.

Thanks

The model for Leo's are for a California ODB2 truck. Different headers. For the 90' you should check Thorley's site.

The fuel pressure guage can be installed by removing a small brass plug on the body of the BBK regulator and installing the BBK fuel guage into the threaded port. It's Very simple.

In doing research I've found that the the 460 EFI performs best with the fuel pressure set @ 41 to 42 PSI, please refer to the magazine article in my original post.

Ler us know how the install works out.

Will that same regulator work on my 1990 F250 460?

I have my uninstalled BBK 1706 in front of me and it says it is for the 86-93 5.0, but it is the exact same fuel rail mount as the 460. I just haven't installed it yet. It has the brass plug with it that lesoster talked about. I am installing mine along with my maf swap and setting it at 41P.S.I. to start with.

Cost

What did this build cost you? Did you do all the labor yourself? I have a 97 I'm wanting to rebuild and this sounds perfect.
