My ground strap from the cab body (passenger side) to the frame was very corroded. I touched it while doing an oil change and the strap snapped in two.

I have plenty of misc. electrical stuff sitting around, so I'm just going to make a new strap... What gauge cable do you think is equivalent to the braided strap?

Thats about 1/4 wide and a 1/8 thick? I would think that a #6awg THHN would work well. I would suggest solidering the ends.
