Turbo V10 Excursion

I live jsut north of Cincinnati. I just saw your P.S Thanks for the Repp. I saw in some sig's the AC code stuff. What is all that? I know my truck is in desperate need of help in the suspension dept..at 63,000 miles I don't have much room left between my front springs and bump stops. I'm still running the original rotors, on my 4th set of pads. shocks and tires are original and I know I need some balljoints very soon.. What I have is an 04 Black V10 4x4 Limited, Tan lether that's in very good condition for having 2 dogs and a young boy.. LOL

AC code injectors are stock single shot injectors found on the IH engines in busses and dump trucks.
IH made the 7.3L for Ford, but Ford changed some things for their trucks, like putting in split shot injectors, which are less efficient than single shots, produce less power than stock single shots, but are more emissions friendly.
The springs on our 4x4 Excursions are crap, in my opinion. Ford didn't put on the same springs as found on the F250 4x4 trucks, even though the Ex is the same platform. Internet forum logic has decided Ford did so because they wanted a softer riding rig, and the "soccer mom's" wouldn't want their SUV to ride like a truck. Unfortunately that created the inherent steering wander that plagues most 4x4 Excursions.
Check out this thread. It's a compilation of suspension, steering wander, spring related threads addressing the 4x4 Excursion suspension.

The V code, B code upgrade you see in my sig addresses the steering wander problem. Swapping out the POS OEM springs on the Ex and replacing them with F250 springs is the V/B code mod. It raises the Ex just a tad under 2", and gives a better overall ride. It also gives a bunch more clearance over the bump stops.

Yea, my brother and I are seriously thinking that, I have sorced a few places to find the mandrel bends and the header flanges. It's nice that I didn't even have to mess with the passenger side manifold. I talked to Turbonetics about how much I would have to spend to get a discount.. That is one reason I put this on here. The wife don't like the truck now but I think I can keep her at bay wiht a resonator. I really don't want to remove this kit.. LOL

The 4:30's came with the truck so I can't compare to the 3:73's, I wanted the 4:30's due to my towing needs and I'm guessing they were an option. The 4:30's with a turbo would be the bomb to allow the turbo to spool up quicker.
