I have a Ford Remote Starter on my 04 F150. Never had any problems with it, but now the battery has died in the fob. Changed the battery, but need to re-program it for my truck. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks...
You don't need to reprogram the fob. The only time you must reprogram is when adding or changing fobs. You actually program your car to accept the fob.
never had a fob stop working with a vehicle because the battery died...obvious question....have you tried it with a fresh battery? The batteries(yes it has 2 of them) died in my aftermarket remote start fob and just had to swap them and never skipped a beat.
I have a 2005 Ford F150 and it was stored for 2 months and the battery was dead. I charged the battery up, however, the remotes do not work. I followed the manual in respects to reprogramming the remote, however, it appears the computer does not seem to recognize the remotes as they do not cycle the door locks as the manual says. I have also replaced the batteries in the remotes. But they still do not work. Any further ideas/
