one more brake question

i had to get a new caliper for the front pass. side. When i got it it came with to half round springs the go from pad to pad front and back. i installed them in the holes in the top of pads. i do not have them on the drivers side when i changed the driver side pad and rotors the springs were rusted in half should i get some and replace them or just not worry about them?

I'd get a HW kit from your local parts store and put them on. About $15, IIRC. The springs help keep the pads off the rotor
