whats the fuel tank capacity for an 87 b-2?

 

I would be willing to think that the 87 and 89 are the same or really close and I know that I put 23 in the tank that was empty when I replaced the fuel pump in mine. That is inclusive of the 3-4 gallons I put in to get it to the gas station and the 19.7 gallons that I put in at the gas station.

 

really?! cause if it is on e, it takes 11-15 gallons. if thats the case i dint think ill replace the float, as i like the idea of a few gallons reserve

 

All B2's from 84-90 had 23 gallon Fuel tanks and believe it or not but you could as an option ordered it with a diesel.

 

i just replaced mine an it is a 22.5 gallon on my 89
