i have a 04 f250 6.0 powerstroke. just did alot of work and found 4 wires near the drivers side hood hinge that look as if they were cut. can't figure out where they may go. wouldn't think ford would have left them hanging without a plug on the end. anyone have any ideas. attached is a picture.

 

They are firewall pass-thru wires for your use. the other blunt ends are above the parking brake. Use them for whatever you can dream up

Are these wires related to the upfitter switches at all?

 

Not specifically, but you can use them in conjunction with the switches if you want.
