King Pin replacement

Hi, my suggestion is to take it to a garage/repair shop (not sure what you guy's call it in the US), the mechanic who did my kingpins had to borrow a heavier duty press (5 ton I think) as he couldn't do it with his one, I don't think they are an easy job but someone here might know better.

Vintage -vans has a few posts of the subject. where guys have trouble areas and what is needed to be done. Do you go with nylon bushings or brass. With bras you need to have it reemed and with nylon they can be pressed. The joys of removing it yourself or having a shop do it.
I just suggest checking the site out and see if their forums can help withan answer.
