Angry 1999 Expedition. A/C LP Connection

I Know where the connection is. My problem is that when I connect the hose to the low pressure connection, which is located on the acumulator.
The pressure reading flips to "OVER FULL" This in turn will not allow the R-134 to go in the system. I have never had this proplem with any other vehicles. I need to know if there is anyone on these boards that has had hands on experience with this model. 1999 Expedition 5.4L 4x4 w. Rear air.

The AC works I just noticed it being a little less cold.

Thanks -G

OK. So run it on regular AC and 50%? On all other models I have done this to it requires max 100%

Please let me know.

YES. Sorry misread your response. Yes on max a/c set to full.

Does it make sense to you?

Go to the HVAC section of the forum and read the FAQs.

This is not normal. It is possible for an expansion valve to stick OPEN, causing the low side reading to "read" high. What is the high side pressure reading? In order to properly troubleshoot it, you need both readings. The only other option is a weak compressor or maybe it is charged, and you have a blend door issue!.

Go read the FAQs. The answer is there.
