Note that the wording they used was "cab on serviceability"

UOAs consist of checking for metal on drain plug magnet. All stock, no mods. Dyed fuel with no additives. Never been reflashed.
Total parts replaced;
one EGR valve.
That was a great slide show. I cant wait till 2011 to see them and hear what they sound like in person.

You should be able to see and hear one as early as March of 2010

All the attention to noise controll. I mean, it's an oil burner for cripes sake - it's going to make noise.
The end result is, more cost passed on to the consumer because of the special care for noise AND more PITA for technicians when it comes to that concern.
how come they are going to release the 2011's so early? then again if you have a 2010 keep it cause there aren't going to be many of them out there and they'll probably be collectors down the road....haha
but honestly why the first quarter and not the fourth?

I think the primary reason is the expiration of the Navistar engine contract 12/31/09 as well as the 2010 emissions that kick in 1/1/2010 which the 6.4 doesn't currently meet.

The engine shows great promise and only time will tell. If I ever decide to upgrade the '01 F-350 7.3, this just may be it; but I'll let some of you be the first to try.
