04 F150 18" Wheel Torque

Need verification on wheel torque value. My Owners manual says 150 foot lbs, however the local tire shop says 100. Is the owners manual incorrect?

I would suggest following the owners manual. I don't have mine in front of me but I doubt it has a typo.

Local tires shops will say 95-100lbs ft for everything. I would be more inclined to go with the manual on this one. A few pounds here and there isn't going to make a difference, but when its a 50lbs/ft difference, I tend to side with the manufacturer that put the vehicle together, over Joe Schmo over at Tire World.

My '07 manual says 150 lb/ft also, so it's not a typo.
