Timing tensioner issue, what years?
Hi,
I may be in the market for a used Explorer. I think I am going to narrow it down to the 02-05 years because I like the look of those better than the prior and newer years.
My question is, when did Ford fix the timing chain tensioner issues that plagued the SOHC 4.0 V6?
Also, any advice about buying a used Explorer would be appreciated.
