swapping 6.9 diesel to replace 7.3 diesel

I'm swapping a 6.9 diesel from a 1983 E-350 auto to a 1989 F-250 4 wheel drive 5 speed. I know the wiring harness will have to be modified a bit and that the oil pans are different as well as the oil cooler. I didn't notice much difference between the oil coolers other than the 6.9 had a drain petcock for the coolant. Is this the only difference? Any other problems I might encounter with this swap? Thanks.
