302 pully's
So I picked up this 302 to replace my locked up 351w in my '77 F-150. I was told the engine block was a '79 but the pully's are serpentine insted of the v-belt style. No biggie, i was just going to swap the pully's but there seems to be a clearance issue. So I looked up the water pumps and they are the same part number. wtf is wrong?

Well, I think the pully's fit, just tightly, but theres a different problem. Apparently there are two bolt patterns for the water pump pully (maybe serpentine vs. V belt?) so to solve this problem, instead of finding the other pully, i'm going to swap my water pump. That will cure my fear of a reverse flow water pump and give me the right bolt pattern for that pully.
Thank's guys.
