I'm trying to put an air dog ll on the 97' as a complete stand alone. No fuel bowl or factory lift pump (my new cam doesn't have fuel lobe to keep mechanical lift pump).

I've tried the OBS thread and not to many guys have fooled with them yet. Anyone here have any ideas? I have a 130/75. can i make it work all alone or what do i need

I did the RR kit before I got the Airdog II to help with my psi dropping to 10-15 psi. at WOT but it did not help that much because I think my stock HFCM was week.
How did you/do you set the pressure on the AD2? I plan on putting mine in this weekend as well as doing the harpoon, I have to drop the tank because its an Ex. Back to my original question. When installing how are you getting a pressure reading to set the AD2. The only fuel pressure guage I have is on my ITP RR, I know, I need to get a fuel pressure guage. In the mean time how can I get the pressure for the AD2? Can you just use a diagnostic guage of some type to the Fuel Bowl pressure fitting?

If you screw in the fitting on the RR and adjust the ADII to the psi you want then drop the RR psi down about 5-6 psi below the ADII.

Where am I getting the psi reading from the AD2 with this technique? If I screw in the RR screw the guage goes down to zero and stays at zero. Do I then get the reading from the fuel bowl pressure test port?? Sorry to be difficult.

I'm sorry, you need to unscrew the RR screw to get the reading of psi that the ADII is putting out.

It was a long day yesterday and I was not thinking strait.
