I bought 4 used Alcoa wheels and found out today 1 of them is cracked. Anyone use one of those repair companies and if so which one and what kind of luck did you have? I paid $450 for the 4 rims, steering column, and instrument cluster. Probaly got ripped eh?

 

I think you got them at a fair price.

but ya still got a good price for them just gotta find one more. I sold a set a while back that i had taken the clear coat off and polished them for $600 for 4 wheels

i used the jasco green stripper from the local hardware store. it works pretty well, not as well as aircraft stripper but the green strip is no where near as toxic, just need goggles and gloves for the green strip where as the aircraft you should have on a respirator and apron and faceshield
