little outta line here

Hiya folks....ok I know this is a little new but I'm helping a buddy put a engine out of a 78 Ranchero in his 89 Bronco. The ? is will it hurt to use the reverse rotation water pump from his later model on the early engine. We put a early set of heads on the later engine a couple of months ago and it keeps running hot. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone needs some Ranchero parts let me know at Broncoman85@Excite.com and if you come get them or pay shipping you can have them, we're gonna scrap all but the rearend. Whit

Ken I'm sorry I know this is the wrong place but I seem to be brain dead tonight and we're gonna start pulling the motor out of his truck in the morning and need to get some answers soon. I can't seem to find the correct posting place tonight. Whit

There is a forum section:

Ranchero and 1961-1967 Econoline

Please contact me about issues of where to post rather than putting it in the accouncements sections (I'm the only one who needs to start threads in this section).
