Anyone interested in a Midwest trans short throw kit for zf5 post here!!!!

Ok guys here is the thread for you to post in if you want to get a short throw shift kit for your zf-5. these kits shorten the throws quite a bit from what i'm told for faster, smoother shifts. from what i understand the normal price on these are around $125, BUT i'm talking to clay at Riff Raff and he said he is sure he can help us out if we have enough guys wanting to buy at one time. i'm not sure how much he can help us out, but i will find out. Anyways. if you are interested in getting into a group buy post here and stay tuned so i can get a number on how many kits we will be getting. i'm sure this number will reflect how much clay can help us out. Thanks guys

Anyone have any hands-on experience with it?
Like to make sure its worth it, but if the price is right, I'll try one for myself.

from what i have seen the SD guys like 'em in the zf6's, but i'm going to try one for myself. about 30% shorter throws would be well worth it.. haha. you know you want one so put your name on in here. haha. like i said. they are around $125 normally and depending on how many ppl we got the price may come down substantially(can't spell. haha...)..

my thoughts exactly!! i have driven my buddy's zf6 a few times and i like that trans A LOT, but i'm sure that this short throw will help us out a lot whether it be racing, towing(take less time to shift/lose less momentum), ease of driving/more fun to drive.. i have a feeling i will like this kit a lot. just heard from my cousin who has a friend who has one. his friend likes it A LOT. he said it really improved the shift throws and helped a lot overall.

Just a heads up guys, the price on the SD ZF6 shifter is $50 more than that. Maybe the ZF5 is less, and I will know tomorrow. I will do the best I can for you, just didn't want anyone to think it was misrepresented. I do know in the SD that they lessen the throw by 38% over all. I will be looking to get a OBS hopefully late this year so I will be down here more and seeing what I can do to help you guys out as well.

Clay, a buddy of my cousins said that he got his for $125, but i could be wrong on that. i don't personally know the guy.. haha. but i also know awhile back i was hearing in that range too but who knows.

So there y'all have it there is a chance it could be a little more so if y'all are against it let me know so we can get clay the right number. sorry if i misrepresented anything i was just saying what i was told. thanks guys

No more guys with zf's in here?!?!?!?!?!?

I just called MW Trans. and asked. The SD ZF6 is $175 and the ZF5 is $215.

Hopefully Clay can do us some good here.
