Server Downtime

Server update....

Well gang, as you know, we've been having problems with the server. It went down again last night at 8:00pm. The problems we've been having are two-fold:

1. Bug in Redhat Linux 7.3 EXT3 file system.
2. Intermitant hardware failure.

Problem 1 has been resolved. We think problem 2 is marginal RAM. We have a server offsite with a configuration that's identical to the live server. It fails an intensive memory test using identical memory. We purchased memory from Corsair (generally known for having some of the best memory in the retail channel) this morning and so far its passing all our tests with flying colors. If it continues to pass all tests over the course of the weekend we'll take down the live server and put the Corsair memory in it and the problems should no longer disappear.
