2001gocougs is starting off with a positive reputation.
magnetic key holder

I am wondering if a magnetic key holder will work with a 2007 expedition key? Will it alter the programming of the key?

The keys are NOT programed. They have a circuit that when energized by the transponder loop in the column emits a code that is recognized by the ECM in your vehicle. They work in a manner like the "Speedpass" system.
