not good. raw gas into the exhaust will cook the cat, and that will cost$$$$ on the 4.6's set up.

Bud-Auto Zone informed me that plug 3 isn't firing. Hubby gets home Friday night, so Saturday is Ford day. I'm about 30 miles from Seaford DE, think its safe to take the kids to the cruise Thursday, or should I try to make next weeks?
lol yeah chebbys are bad on alternators... specially cheaply made ones with "lifetime warrentys"... i usually have to change them every other yr on one of the vehicles around here.... glad my stang isnt like that.... course since i cant remember when the last time i did the s10's alternator it makes me wonder when its gonna go next.. lol..

i prolly wouldnt risk it... could be bad coil, burned out pickup lead under the cap (listed but cuz im not sure which the truck uses) bad wire, broken plug... sometimes even a bad crank sensor could cause it too...

use your reader when you see her. won't use any more fuel, same amout goes in, just don't fire, and shoots it out the exhaust.#3 makes the truck vibrate from missing, but you will only know that at certain rpms. if was #8, you would really feel it, because 7 fires right before 8, and will be a dead miss all the time
