Harley-Davidson supercharged engines intercooled or non-intercoolered?
For those of you who have the Harley-Davidson supercrew F-150's with the supercharged 5.4L engine, are these intercooled or non-intercooled? I have seen some supercharger kits at the Roush website. They have both intercooled kits and non-intercooled kits. I have a 2006 F-150 supercrew with the 5.4L 3V and was considering adding a supercharger. The intercooled kits are $4,999 and the non-intercooled kits are $2,400. Would the intercooled kit provide that much more HP and torque for the extra $2,599?
The OEM supercharged HD trucks were all intercooled, just like the Gen 2 Lightnings.
