im finally fixing up my 78 F-150 4x4 for the upcoming hunting season and i need new upper shock mounts for the rear frame rails. i found new ones on JBG but im not spending 50 bucks per side so my question is why cant i get the bronco ones for 15 bucks and just get shocks for a bronco? i have a 79 bronco rear and the shock mounts are the same in every way compared to my pick up but are the angles different on the top mounts?

 

just my option but i dont see why they wouldnt work, i'd be willing to try if were going to save me that much money, but i am a tight ***. good luck

 

Ive seen a few used sets on ebay for fairly cheap. might wanna check there.
