Depending on how much Green Sales wants for it, you might be able to get them to combine ship.

So, just for S&G's, I looked up that lower box side, the one I removed, for the passenger side, since mine is in pretty rough shape. Turns out I found one at Green Sales.....

FOR 825 BUCKS! Yeah, that's a little rich for my blood, so, dig out the hammer and dolly!!

It is a tricky balancing act working on these trucks. What I want to do, what I need to do and finally what I can afford to do. Then I still have to think about what my afford is verses her affordable. I like breathing so I try not to go crazy!

Yeah, my wife groans every time the big brown truck pulls up.. lucky for me, they don't come very much to Baja... so she lets me live... Like Jackson said, if you do everything you would like to do to your old truck, then your truck is pretty, but your bank account is not. It goes like this for me... 90% of the job, costs 90% of the money, and that last 10%, costs another 90% of your bank account.... As you well know, Nuke grade is pricey

My wife just rolls her eyes now. She doesn't even ask what or how much.

Can't wait to see how you get that bed finished up Pat.

So, I've decided I'm going to flip the bed over, to weld in that large piece. Much easier to do, getting it leveled with the bed flipped over. So, off to the small patches.

Not sure what someone was thinking here. Looks like they used a torch to blast a hole. And, they managed to go right through the fender support underneath here. Grand.

Made a patch for the bigger one from the old box floor. The other was just cut from 16 ga., and then both burned in. I also weld-filled a ton of holes the PO had drilled in the floor.

Next, the pitted area at the front of the box. I'm going to cut this out, and patch with the old box floor. I had to drill out a bunch of spot welds to remove the support from the floor patch, and clean it up.
