The left side was not any fun either. Had to also do this in two pieces. I may have to do a little cutting and massaging, to get that body line to the right shape.

Too bad I hadn't been following where you were lately, the scrap guy just hauled one of them away that I grabbed the rims off of. bottom of the cab was shot but I could have cut those pieces out for you before they took it to the scrappers..

Well, gee, John, that would have robbed me of the misery of making these by hand!!LOL

Left side welds finished, finishing the body work.

I wish. Still have a few spots on the roof I have to do. Also, drivers side door, passenger side front fender, and the hood.

Gee Pat, it might have been less expensive to have bought one already done ! Yeah, I know, then you wouldn't have learned all those new cuss words !

Did you ever think that the process is therapeutic?

Spring update time! So, truck will come out of hibernation at the end of April. Waiting a bit longer this year, because, I managed to break my ankle at work in January! Been off since, should be going back to work in a few weeks. But, big day for the truck, the grill and headlight bezels came home from the plate shop, and it is beautiful! More updates when she comes home.

I Pity that poor sucker who puts a scratch or dent in that grille. Looks great, Pat. Now you have to get back to work and get some OT to help pay for it.
