Another modification I've done to mine is to install either wellnuts or rivnuts that fasten the glass to the cabinet. Originally they use simple nuts which are a pain to hold onto while you try to unscrew the screws for the glass. You have to change the glass occasionally and this makes it much easier since you don't have to hold the nuts inside the cabinet with the wellnuts or rivnuts.

And here you guys thought I hadn't been working on the truck! Shame on you....
Passenger side is welded. Second time came out much, much better. Pain in the butt, but, worth the effort. As you can see, I have a couple of patches to make. Have the new pieces cut, just need to weld them in. Then it's off to the drivers side. That's going to be a whole other story.
