http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSMXa6BslLk
seems this '65 Econoline truck is getting well known on the internet? i also snapped a picture of the same truck at the same show from the year before!, heck i have a "old" Ontario old car trader with the truck in it before it got restored! strange? seems like this truck is destined to be noticed?
also i got a a glimse into the cab, the engine appears to be orange,,,,,, lets hope there isn't a blow tie powering this classic Ford!

Last time I went to Burlington I bought a Bronco
My wife assures me we do not need one of the van style Ford pickups at this time LOL.
I thought we did but she is much smarter than me so I will have to defer to her
The one you have looks pretty good from the picture you should bring it on down for this years Ford Truck Show in Arthur.
Rick.

When I bought my '76 F100 back in 1990 I came very close to buying one of these for the same reason, their different. We were visiting family at the time in Mississippi. I was on a mission to buy an old 50's ford truck but everything I looked at was either junk or real nice(real nice = beyond allocated budget).I new very little about trucks back then but I liked the look of the Econline pickup. I went to look at one about an hours drive from where we were staying. It was being sold by a older gentleman, a retired appliance repair man. The body was mint with the exception of the inside of the box and the tailgate which were not rusty just banged up really bad from washers and fridges being loaded in and out over the years. The price was right but I thought that I would never be able to find a replacement tailgate for such a rare vehicle. I passed on the deal only to find out a few years later that they use the same tailgate as a stepside! I still regret not buying that truck but I did end up buying my '76 F100 and it's been good to me for 20 years now. It's a shame that the body has deteriorated but nothing lasts for ever. PMHVPS that Ecoline does look to be in great shape, but not all Ford sixes had Orange rocker covers. I definitely need to make it out to Arthur this year. Frank

Last years pictures in case anyone forgot or didn't see them.
Just a repost of some pictures I took from last years Ford &Mercury Truck Nationals.
Here's some pictures I took at the show.
Dales Harley Truck, he brought the matching Bike too.
The 80's trucks are really starting to appeal to me LOL.
The full package.
This was a nice clean unit.
Gotta have one of these someday.
My favorite truck of the show, clean clean clean.
First time at the show, Grand son Grandfather built truly an excellent build.
The truck with the Bling.
And then I saw a bigger Truck LOL
The end.
Cheers,
Rick.

It's always the 3rd week of August.
Here's the link to the folks that put this excellent show on every year:
Classic Ford Truck Club
It's the one in Arthur, the other shows listed are a lot smaller shows(but if you're looking to get primed (pun intended) for the big show the little shows are a lot of fun too) the one in Arthur does in the low 160's to close to 200 Ford Trucks.
Hope we see you at the show this year.
Rick.
