Another piece of the puzzle

Some of the things I did for the fuel system include lining the fuel tank, moving the fuel pump behind the cab, adding 3/8 SS fuel lines and a Fram filter.
Were the fram filter is now, is were the fuel pump use to be.[IMG]

After going thru the trouble to get a F-2 crossmember I've decided to modify this one. Just cut along the doted line. http://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gall...224013.520.390

Wow, all of your progress is looking awesome. keep up the good work and posting updates and pictures.
I really need to spend more time in the garage, speaking of which I picked up a small 220 15amp heater for the garage and hooked it up last week, it suprisingly really warms up quite bit so now I can hopefully get more done this winter.
Is that dynamat self adhesive so you can just stick it to the bottom underside of your cab? will it be covered by something? I would worry it would trap moisture underneath it? or am I looking at the wrong thing?
Cheers

3 inch drop!
It's come to the point were one has to make up your mind about lowering the truck. I've decided to go for it. For the front-end I'm keeping a solid axle and have choose one from http://www.roadsters.com/axles/. Pretty much old school for the front. As for the rear I've decided on a kit from http://www.chassisengineeringinc.com/page39.html a little more modern approach. I will also be adding a sway bar out back. What say you? Now if I could only get some money from the obama stash I could chrome plate the front too!

I found some small chrome plug at the local HD dealer for the firewall. Also freshened up the throttle arm, horn relay, wire clips and the Ford tag. If you wondering whats with the blue tap, thats the new SS fuel line and I will be installing the regulator tomorrow. I hope before the end of the week the new motor will be in the frame. [/IMG]

The information I've gotten about and from Chassis Engineering is a drop of 2-4 inch. I think 3 would be idea, 4 would be ok too.
