Reverse sensor

Have 2004 supercrew with the reverse sensor. Question is when I first start out and put it in reverse it turns it self off the reverse sensing that is? Any guess as to what this would be?

Thanks

One of your sensors is bad. I took mine to the dealer and the hooked it up to their computer for free for me only cause I had some problems with my truck. They say the passanger side outer one goes out 9 times out of 10. Mine was the passanger side inner one though. Take them out and spray the connectors with wd40 and try it again. May just need cleaning. Also check the faces of them and see if any are damaged.
