Question Want To Have Your Say in Hwy169 Widening to Owasso?.....

As per KTULdotCOM=

Tulsa - The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking input on a proposed widening project of Highway 169 from Interstate 244 to 56th Street North.
<!PARA1!>
Plans call for widening the highway from four to six lanes and for bridge rehabilitation work at Pine Street. The work would be done with existing right-of-way and no land would need to be purchased.
<!PARA2!>
The call for input is required by the government to get as much information as possible about the proposed project area. While there is no start date for the project, tentative plans call for a part of the work to be placed up for bid this fall.

All input should be submitted to ODOT by September ninth.
<!PARA4!>
Citizens can contact ODOT to share their opinions by phone at (405)-521-2321, by e-mail at gphillips@odot.org or by mail at the following address:

MikeB 88 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I was under the impression that this project was put on hold indefindently. Ran out of money. It would be a good idea though.
